So now we're down to the final four. I had a feeling Kayne would be the next one to go. Kayne had been struggling ever since the designers had only one day to work on their creations instead of two. Still it was a close call between him & Jeffrey. What was that hideous thing Jeffrey designed?! I thought it was an interesting twist to bring rosettes are my signature piece Angela & it gets me off Vincent back, winners of previous challenges. Mark Harris from Entertainment Weekly notes in his article that they didn't bring back Keith, who won the very first challenge. But hey, he was caught cheating so it was a good decision not to bring him back. Project Runway continues to have the best challenges in reality television. At first the challenge of a black & white cocktail dress seemed simple enough, especially compared to previous challenges, but then they threw in that every inch of material had to be used. Poor Angela stuffed all her extra material in a red purse and Vincent decided to make one of the longest shawls you will ever see. Before they knew it they were gone, again. Congrats to Laura for winning her first challenge! She's battling hormones and a bruised ego and she still managed to produce her best piece yet. She might go all the way. I'm making my pick now, although I love her stuff I think Uli is the next one to go. She keeps re-hashing the same dress. I'm picking local designer Michael to take the whole thing. His stuff rocks.
Wish I could jump into the coversation, but I haven't watching Project Runway. Now Flava of Love--that's a show!
ReplyDeleteI don't know Michael's work, but I do love Project Runway.
ReplyDeleteI saw the final four collections (Yes, I cheated & saw their work through articles about Fashion week) and I liked Laura's stuff the best. I'm picking Laura.
