I want to be BRAVO...

More & more I find myself watching BRAVO television. I'm a huge fan of Top Chef & Project Runway & even shows like 100 Scariest Moments. For the last couple of years it seems like they could do no wrong. How did they go from a performing arts channel to a neo-arts & culture realty tv station?! Well here's some insight from an internal memo:

Bravo Think

Bravo defines the “guardrails” of its “brand personality” as:
Inventive, but useful
Original, but not abstract
Stylish, but accessible
Bold, but not offensive
Breezy, but still meaningful
Forward-looking, but rooted in the present
Smart, but not academic
Confident, without bragging
Sexy, but not vulgar
Open-minded, but still opinionated
Inviting, but not ordinary
SOURCE: "Think Bravo," Bravo network, internal document

As I read this list I realize hey, I want to be all these things too. Call it what you will, maybe an early New Year's Resoultion but I'm setting this list as a goal.
I just wish there was some kind of litmus test or something I could track my progress.

I want BRAVO to be inventive but not have to tell me they are "useful." Why can't they be all of those things without the explainations. Can't they just be themselves? Y'know, like you.

I love the insider info!
