
The best of all possible worlds was introduced yesterday. Launched with great fanfare by Steve Jobs, Apple's new iPhone is not only Apple's long awaited entry into the mobile phone market, it is also an internet browser, MP3 and video player, email device, electronic organiser and camera. You can read more about it here.There are alreadcy debates whether or not the new iPhone will make the Blackberry or Palm Pilot obsolete. That doesn't concern me. What concerns me is how am I going to get a hold of the $600 I'll need to purchase the 8GB model. Sigh...

I'm waiting for the second-generation iPhone, which I predict will have fewer bugs, more cool stuff, and cheaper. Too bad the Cinguar service won't match the quality of the phone.
