Nothing like a lil' Gnarls Barkley to cure what ails you...

With a backdrop of a gun silhouette shooting out a heart, Gnarls Barkley enthralled a rapturous crowd at the Tabernacle in Atlanta last night. Armed with a backing band dubbed " Chariots of Fire" and dressed somewhere inbetween Roman gladiators & senators, Cee-Lo & Dangermouse started off the festivites with the opening refrain of Queen's " We Are the Champions." And they were right. Finishing off their current tour, the band seemed to relish being back home. The only odd moment for me was when Cee-Lo had a spotlight put on his son Kingston to wish him a happy birthday & then proceeded to ask the women in the audience if any of them would impulsively show him one of their breasts. Talk about a showstopper. But their showmanship was undeniable and Cee-Lo's voice sounded amazing. I guess time will tell if they can build on their current success or end up as a one-hit wonder. I hope it's the former.
